I use a different app to listen to this podcast and before the days of podcasting, I listened to your show courtesy of my local NPR station. Obviously, I’ve been a long-time fan, but I have become increasingly frustrated at your (or your interviewees’) apparent determination to pull politics into...Read full review »

Terry Gross is mean and outdated. She keeps throwing jabs at her guests during interviews and somehow manages to sound petty, jealous, and downright racist of every star or celebrity of color she invites onto her show. Take a listen, for instance, on her interview with Octavia Spencer in her...Read full review »

I am a long time listener and love this show but was wondering if you could change the index of available shows to display the most recent first. The way it is displayed now has one scrolling all the way to the bottom to get to the most recent episode. Thanks!

I have been a loyal listener and Member for nearly 30 years but have become so disappointed at the constant political attacks that I am considering discontinuing both. The ‘tell’ is when I think I’m going to listen to a topic where Terry can’t possibly inject a venomous comment and wham. It’s...Read full review »

Love the show, but so disappointed by the choice of guests representing Christianity. The “experts” on these topics are exceptionally on the extreme edges of Christian belief and there is no objective discussion on those views. Christianity is then grossly maligned with errors even non-Christians...Read full review »

Very influential program above Winston Churchill. Why did former president Obama sent the bust of this hero back to Great Britain when he became president?

Loved listening to Sondheim interviews and hearing some of his great songs.

Without a doubt T. Gross is the best interviewer on radio or television. Well done!

I love love love the show! A solid 5 star rating. However, there’s sometimes disturbing background noice. F.ex. the interview with Benjamin Wittes. The noice is clearly on the interviewee’s end, and it unfortunately takes the focus away from the topic. Soundcheck?

Can’t expect everyone to comprehend the show. Hey, maybe it’s just too smart for some people to handle. Glad it’s here for us with minds who enjoy and appreciate intellectual stimulation.

So many snarky comments about politics. As if T. supporters would have ever listened to NPR. I don’t believe those comments are for real. Trolls!!

I have changed to C-SPAN for accuracy and information. Gross propaganda, not professional, subtle air of superiority, not fresh. NPR FOX’s mirror reflection. I’m an independent in political affliction. So I feel this is a review apart from US party or political polarization. I’m staying with...Read full review »

I love the show because there is always a great interview on a fascinating book, person or topic that leaves you smarter than you are before listening. However very rarely is it politically balanced nor are both sides of the issue presented.

Terry can either speak up in the face of Trump’s fascism or not For those who found Trumps antics adorable, in the age of Coronavirus, he has been pathetically incompetent Is America “great” yet?

It’s funny you can tell the Trump trolls that comment and try to chew things up here..They should start their own podcast called No Air for dopes. Can’t wait for this sickness to leave the White House and the brown nosed cronies as well..gonna take a while, but they’ll be gone. Cheers to TG.

You learn, you get informed with facts (a rarity these days) and Terry Gross is one of the best interviewers, if not the best, ever. Have been listening since 2000 and continue to listen religiously. Thank you Fresh Air team and thank you Terry Gross.

This has got to be the best interview with Ru Paul. I have never heard Ru Paul give a serious interview before. He’s wonderful thank you!

I used to love Fresh Air. Then about a year ago the team messed something up and all my Fresh Air’s changed to Code Switch. I deleted and reloaded the podcast numerous times. I now get a mix of Fresh Air and Code Switch. I’ve pretty much given up on getting Fresh Air. But I’m kinda loving Code...Read full review »

Sad a great show has devolved into petty stories designed to broadcast scare tactics and uninformed one side stories

This episode was hard to hear. I love the pioneer spirit of this father and his son, but there is a colonial smugness that is at the core of this. Imagine going to the countries and proceed to penetrate without taking time to know the culture, the people, the terrain, the language., or a native...Read full review »

Terry you rocked this interview. It was if we were witness to friends meeting in a coffee shop. What a wonderful actor! I loved her in Homeland, in my opinion, the best TV show series in my 65 years! Will miss it very much. Hope to see Claire in many more acting roles! Thank you! Terry, I...Read full review »

Such a great idea to explore scandals many would have heard of but may not have completely understood at the time. I’ve been captivated by every season I’ve listened to so far. I respect and admire Pollan, but his pronunciation of adenosine is incorrect, and one I have never heard in 45 years experience in the field. Mr Pollan—and I am begging you here—please google ‘adenosine pronunciation’—there is no long ‘e’. I deduce 1 star for this amateurish error. Peace, brother.
