The way Terry continues to mishandle interviews surrounding Me Too and sexual assault is horribly uncomfortable. From Tig Notaro to Reese Witherspoon, it’s impossible to listen to Terry make these women squirm and treat them with barely a modicum of decency.

What a pleasure to find out an actor I love for his acting I also love for his thinking

I love this podcast - Terry Gross is always prepared for the interview, having read the book or listened to the music, which allows her to ask more than just surface questions. She does it all while making it sound spontaneous.

In this era of alternative news and the upside down, it is refreshing and comforting to hear these interviews, no matter what the topic. We learn so much. Insights, the depth of research, and questions for guests help keep us grounded, centered.

I have to say the interview with Adam Cohen, son of Leonard Cohen was so great. The younger Cohen’s refusal to read his father’s poetry was so enjoyable. Terry Gross’s frustration was so palpable. That makes for great radio.

The Steele Dossier interview really wrecked Fresh Air for me. The blatant bias and narrative leading questions were obvious. Fluff questions with the intention of demeaning Trump versus a truly objective discussion. It is as if Terry Gross leads the interview to accomplish a predetermined outcome...Read full review »

This podcast should be considered the gold standard and Terry Gross the pinnacle of interviewing. It never ceases to amaze or interest me, each and every episode. Thank you Ms. Gross for being the stand-in for us in every interview with such grace, humor and candor.

Terry gross is an amazing interviewer. And the show is always interesting and entertaining. One of the best podcasts, and i’ve been a fan since 2007.

Although Fresh Air attracts interesting creators, Terry Gross has gotten more & more self-absorbed & insufferable to the point that I can’t listen anymore. I thought after all these years she might improve, but apparently no one has given her the memo that she is NOT the person of...Read full review »

Love the show but the host is kind of rude and passive to her guests. Makes me uncomfortable but the guests still manage to be enthusiastic and happy.

Emily Bazelon’s interview with Terry is fantastic! It’s super interesting, educational, and answered so many crucial questions! The answers are frightening and made my blood boil about the abuses of power of this administration and future ones.

This podcast was interesting to listen to as a potential psychology major because it shows Dr. Julie Holland's point of view as she ran the weekend shift at Bellevue's psychiatric emergency room for nine years. We get her point of view of what she been through and some insight into how...Read full review »

I love Ms. Gross! However, I do wish she would do less set up work and ask more questions to the guest so we can enjoy their answers.

I started listening to Fresh Air 22 years ago. Ms. Gross is one of the best, if not the best, interviewer of our generation. I only wish I’d started listening earlier.

Terry likes to tell her guests all about themselves or the subject they are there to talk about. Then she asks a question to get a short answer before she again talks a lot about what the guest should be addressing. Why can’t she ask a better questions that let the guest tell us about their life...Read full review »

She used to interview guests. Now she does the talking and all the set-ups and leaves the guests with yes or no responses. Terry Gross is the best interviewer I’ve heard. She’s interesting, has a great voice, is intelligent and never sounds phony. Additionally she researches her guests and their subject matter. Terry Gross Comes across as a very arrogant, naïve little lady. While she occasionally has a very good guest on like Ronan Farrow, she always tries to twist things to hurt those she disagrees with. Very disgustingly biased woman and very disrespectful to the taxpayer. We taxpayers pay her salary...Read full review »

Come to our house after dinner and you’re likely to hear Fresh Air on our smart speakers. If not on then we try to catch up via podcast. When I need a break from the news cycle, Terry’s calm voice eases a story that I didn’t know I needed into my day.

This show in particular and NPR in general is not interested in hearing from both sides. All sounds like pigs in Animal Farm - Trump and the Republican Party is bad! The Democratic Party (4-leg) is good! I stopped listening and supporting NPR since they started bashing the President!

内容没的说,NPR 的最高水准,在美区的评论极高。最重要的是NPR的节目下载不用挂梯子,做到了全球同步,感动。 A show give me a glimpse to American culture while I am not in US. The highest quality radio program with acceptable number of advertisements. Highly recommended if you want to understand US conviently while you are in China. Listen...Read full review »
