Kate IS my own correspondent
In these days of impersonalised communication and channel swapping, I always find it comforting to hear my own personal correspondent. Kate Aide has that wonderful charm of knitting the different strands of interest together and present them into an enjoyable collective of narritives. You see, for me, it's her voice, you can hear the calm rendition and feel totally relaxed when hearing rather alarming news. It's a gift that the BBC have - which is why I used to listen to The World Service when I was younger, and why now I listen to Kate on iTunes/iPod. It's the reassurance that although there is bad news, the BBC is there to get the facts, assimulate the dangers and then calmly inform us of the report.
