“世界各国にいるBBC海外特派員によるレポートが、毎回５本（各５分ぐらい）紹介される。読んでいるのはレポーター自身。５本のうち前半は政治、経済的なテーマ、後半は社会、生活的なテーマで、深刻な問題から愉快な話題まで、また大国から小国の話題までありバランスがよい。いま世界で何が起こっているのか非常にリアルに伝わってくる。レポーターの英語はシンプルで分かりやすく、また５本のうち２、３本については、同番組のウェブサイトにスクリプトが掲載されているので、目と耳でイギリス英語を勉強することができる。”
