Southern Hospitality
Having never visited, I am totally in love with Thomasville, The Bookshelf, and, well, Chris. (Okay, Annie, too). While the book reviews are my favorite shows, I also find myself getting in to the shows about the bookstore (particularly the business aspects. Annie makes me feel like I could totally run my own bookstore (no, I couldn't, but it's nice to pretend!) and life in Thomasville. The back and forth is at a nice pace, and you can tell the two hosts genuinely like each other, and make the listener feel included in that circle. Thanks for the hospitality, y'all!Read full review »

I have really enjoyed listening to this podcast every week! Annie is a wonderful host, and I have gotten so many great book recommendations. I also really enjoy the conversations on the South and small-town living.

Having always wanted to work in a independent book store, I get to live vicariously through Annie and Chris. They always suggest at least five books I actually want to read, and there conversations are lovely to listen in on! Thank you for the great podcast! Keep up the good work!!
