I loved listening to Jordan and Annie go through the match madness brackets! I totally support Tom lake as the winner! I really enjoyed Jordan’s reasoning for choosing certain books , particularly the book by an author who borrowed his coat.

So enjoy listening to this podcast. Annie and her staff share so much information about books, reading and all things reading related. Also enjoy the episodes with family - her mom, her cousin, March Madness with Jordan - all so much fun. And The Book Shelf is delightful too!

I have been listening to From the Front Porch for about a year and it is always entertaining and insightful. I enjoy Annie, Hunter, Annie’s mom, and all the ladies that share their reviews. A brilliant bookseller and interviewer, Annie uncannily understands readers, writers, editors, and publishers. I can’t resist reading the books she talks about, and I’ve been know to replay some of her episodes. This is the smartest, most heartfelt podcast with book recommendations for every kind of reader. Annie B. Jones is kind and funny to the core, but she is also the most razor sharp book recommender I know.

What really drew me in is Annie, the host. She is engaging and manages to draw the listener in without ever sounding pompous or taking herself too seriously. So many book podcasts are either very high brow in a grating way or too dumbed down and don’t tackle the sort of literary fiction I deeply...Read full review »

I absolutely adore Annie’s podcast. I turn it on every evening while I tidy the kitchen after dinner and fold laundry or piddle around. You should really narrate a book!

I was listening to the latest episode about long distance visitors so thought I’d let you know I listen from Brisbane, Australia and if I ever make it on a US holiday (difficult with 5 small children, but I can dream!) will be visiting you at the bookshelf ❤️
