This is such an incredible inspiring and empowering show. Especially the last two episodes really hit me personally. Where I live it is 1 o’clock in the morning right now and I am laying in my bed, sobbing, because this podcast is so good and so important. You guys are incredible. Thank you so...Read full review »

What a well produced, compelling podcast helping to further shine a light on the US prison system. What a waste of money, hopes, time - that could all be put towards helping people move forward. There’s a movement to change how our prison system functions, here’s hoping this podcast helps make...Read full review »

Thank you for this podcast. The show is fun to watch and hits home but this is absolutely gets to the nitty gritty. Lack of touch for 2 years still screws me up 3 years later. One day people ‘in the free’ will understand how demoralizing prison is and doesn’t have to be. Keep shining light...Read full review »

I always knew that our prison industrial complex was corrupt - watching OITNB made me see it from a different perspective. We are taught that prisoners are inherently bad, dangerous, evil. This is not the case - anyone who knows someone in the system knows this, however this podcast makes it very...Read full review »

I never thought much about the prison system before the light OITNB spread on it. I was so anxious to listen to the first episode and it did not disappoint. I’m hooked not for a good story, but because of the issues incarcerated women are facing. When you don’t see it, you don’t think about it...Read full review »

Piper’s voice was so robotic, lifeless and tedious I couldn’t even get past 5 minutes. Good idea, sadly, poorly executed.

There is no one I want to hear from more than the real women whose stories OITNB is inspired by. Bravo for putting them forward.

The fact that Orange is the new Black still continues to make change and positive impact, even after the show has come to end is just amazing. This show will go straight into the history books about America, LGBTQ, prisons and many more subjects discussed in the series. Bravo!
