Great, except on USA/pop culture
This show is fabulous when it deals with Canadian issues. Great host, great narratives. When it clumsily attempts to adress USA politics or pop culture insights, it’s pure crystalline cringe.

Very good!
My only qualm is that before we even hear the title of the podcast, we hear an ad for another podcast. Often, the subject matter of these advertised podcasts is murder. I don’t mind learning about these other podcasts, but please save their promotion for later in the show.

The show is essentially a platform for certain views and not a forum for discussion. It’s great to have a Canadian alternative to the glut of America-centric current events podcast (don’t get me wrong those are great too).
