As a new fan to the ASOIAF universe, looking for creators that put out content that’s not hard to understand and that is really intriguing can be pretty overwhelming. There’s hundreds of creators to choose from but Preston and Carmine are up their in my Go-To’s. Recently I finished the show for...Read full review »

So the GoT podcast w/Preston Jacobs is in fact not a podcast with Preston Jacobs. Cool title, bro. What a waste of time listening to two dudes claiming to like a thing and then explaining why the thing is actually bad. Unbelievable. 5 stars for Preston only.

I love Carmine and Preston. They’re like a classic Virgo/Capricorn power couple. Preston dots the I’s and Carmine ignores the T’s so they don’t lose our attention and I can listen for 3 hours straight. The knowledge of sigils and story is what I’m here for, but they are relatable because they...Read full review »

Really like the interplay between carmine and Preston.

Quite pretentious discourse with the knowledge to back it up. An ASOIF snob’s (like me) dream. The dynamic takes some listens to get used to; Carmine might be some A.I. that Preston created to seem more relatable. But who knows! Excellent deep dives regardless!

Not sure what to make of the theories, from a man claiming he’s probably wrong about half of it. Cool Podcast dudes, thanks for keeping ASOIAF going while few books have been out. I enjoyed the dorne podcast, and wouldnt mind hearing the other theories discussed on this platform either. And...Read full review »

Well thought out, candid and always an enjoyable listen. Carmine and Preston have great chemistry. Covering a broad range of topics, this podcast never misses the mark. Served with ample doses of humor and sarcasm, no matter which show they are covering, this podcast is inevitably more...Read full review »

That guy has potential but I think he has to grow more as a person. I don’t know, maybe travel the world or read more. He just seems very easily lead. Like he would refuse to wear a mask because Joe Rogan said so. Idk, it just sounds like Preston is taking it easy on this guy because they have...Read full review »

Always entertaining to listen to! Found both on youtube and since they teamed up nothing better. Reading through Fire & Blood currently and the insight these two put in, next level!

Carmine and Preston make a good team. Carmine’s brash candor and humor (baba booey baba booey!) mixed with Preston’s practical yet detailed analysis gives the audience a natural feeling of conversational and thorough reviews of GoT, etc. Just a question — are either of you into Twin Peaks?...Read full review »

I like these guys, though I appreciate Preston far better for his knowledge on the subject. Preston is a gift to those that appreciate deep dives and critical (not cynical) analysis. For a guy that works at the State Dept he would sure make a great historian, literary critic or fiction professor. But instead we get to enjoy his insight for free. Note: Hosted by Carmine.

As a three-year listener to “Rereading Ice,” “1000 Worlds Book Club” etc., it’s with mixed emotions that I enjoy these podcasts. They’re very entertaining, but Carmine’s youth, ignorance of other GRRM works and his obvious discomfort whenever Preston brings up ANYTHING related to sex, made the...Read full review »
