Excitement Dwindled
The first episode was great and I was excited to learn more as I did not know the ins and outs of the scandel. And then, you get the guy that rambles on forever about how this is race and how we are overlooking the fact that rich white kids got in on the backs of black athletes that create revenue by being good at their sport. I'm sorry WHAT?! WHY make everything about race? If a black family came up with 500k to get their kid into USC, Rick is going to get that kid in too. And, are we forgetting about all the MAJOR revenue making white quarterbacks, kickers, and running backs of some of these major teams? It's not just black athletes generating revenue. The kids getting into these schools by mommy and daddy has NOTHING to do with taking advantage of what the black man has set up for everyone else in college sports. How completely stupid was this monologue that ran WAY too long in episode 2. It's about wealth. Not Race. Also, I listen to a LOT of podcasts and I've NEVER felt the need to write a review but I just had to on this one. This had potential. It's a shame it went stupid.Read full review »

Great storytelling. Riveting narrative and context bringing fresh perspective to this story.

It proves that some wealthy people are incredibly dumb and/or self absorbed in their entitlement issues. I agree with Jenks when he says it makes his blood boil - but love that he’s the one investigating and narrating this podcast.
