I was a huge fan at first, but the podcast has lost its edge and relevance. The future of food is a heavy topic, and they’re talking about the taste of vegetables - wasted opportunity. And they rightly explained that gold mining in Alaska is threatening wild salmon runs, and then extolled eating off of gold spoons. Seriously? I literally called them out on it, as in called them and left a voicemail. Their next episode featured a recorded message from a caller - a six year old saying “i love food” or some such blather. My message was more important. You lost me, ladies. The breakfast episode is super-interesting, though.
