This is one of the most insightful podcasts that I have ever come across! Rachel does such a great job of sharing her wisdom and I love how she leads meaningful conversations with guests who bring so much experience to the table. Highly recommend checking this show out - you won’t be disappointed!

Rachel's content is helpful and practical. I love the length of the show-- quick and packed full of awesome nuggets. Rachel's examples are clear and I feel like things I can put into practice immediately. THANKS!Read full review »

Content is basic, but it became less attractive with the new host, sorry, she is trying her best, but I am listening to this podcast less and less

Always a lot of knowledge and gold nuggets to take away.

I can’t bear the way the host speaks. She’s sooo stilted and unnatural. I tried, but can’t handle the lack of personality.

I used to love this show when it was the Get It Done Guy with Stever. The new show is longer, less engaging (to me), and the production quality isn’t up to what I expect from this network. I wish Stever all the best, but I’m sorry to see him go. I have unsubscribed.

The first time I listened to this show, I was put of by the ads that I got peppered with within 3 minutes of listening to the show. I don’t mind hearing sponsor spots in podcasts, and listen to plenty of shows have them, but the ads on Modern Mentor are completely irrelevant to the topic of this...Read full review »

A LOT of ad time for such short episodes...quite annoying. Certainly makes me less likely to listen with any regularity.
CFlearner via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 02/12/20
Basically if you have read any books or blogs about how to be productive, you can pass this podcast. It is just a copy and paste of the ones in the textbook. Of course they might be useful, but if you ever found them work, you would not be listening to a podcast on productivity. No actual...Read full review »

A superbly useful podcast. Who knew you could be more productive by using coloured pens? (See episode 566)

Stever and his world-class guests give listeners an unfair advantage when it comes to prioritizing, systematizing and staying focused on what matters most. I feel completely at home here - bowled over by brilliant advice and nourishing conversations. If you want the knowledge AND mindsets to not...Read full review »

Far too campy to take seriously. He has good intensions but there is so little topic discussion and mostly campy comedy talking about zombies and using strange analogies like a zombie body replacement center? If Stever was to say up front he is a comedian it wouldn’t be so hard to listen to the...Read full review »

He tries to be funny and interesting, but the humor is very simplistic. And PLEASE stop saying “Schmoopie”...it’s stupid and annoying! Nobody finds that charming

6 Stars or more, huge time save, I’m actually compelled to face reality, real people!

The podcast is about making more efficient use of time yet the host goes off on a tangent every third or fourth sentence. His incessant attempts at jokes make it a challenge to follow along. I wish we could get the same great content without the superficial fluff.

This info has been useful in college, internships, work, grad school, & my personal life. Not only that - because it’s so funny & entertaining, I’ve even shared it with my family (who despite very differing tastes, like it a lot).

I enjoy listening for two reasons. The first is the humor, he makes me laugh in each episode as he brings his reality to the points he’s making. The second is the various topics, especially productivity hacks. I’m a fan of being effective and getting more done with my limited time. Because he...Read full review »

Nothing extremely new about productivity, but extremely funny. Smart, fast and hilarious, but still spoken in a way a non native English speaker like me can easily understand. I’m looking forward to every episode.

The short, tight episodes get the information across in a manner that makes me laugh, but also see the benefit in what's communicated. Suggestions that can easily, cheaply and quickly be implemented are the hallmarks of this podcast. Most unique perspective of all the programs I've...Read full review »

Even if the topic has no relevance to my life, I am always excited to see a new episode has been posted because I find Stever so sexy! His constant referencing of nerd pop culture gold, such as Little Shop of Horrors, is hilarious and right up my alley! Plus he has a sexy voice. His topics and...Read full review »

Ehhhh, I wanted to like this podcast! I’m a fan of others that are produced by the same team. It’s a bit distracting that there’s at least a 1-2 min ad on a 7 min podcast. 😩

I've been listening to this podcast for at least 6 years and am finally reviewing it. I think what sets it apart and keeps me hooked is that Stever doesn't pursue productivity for productivity's sake. He sees the big picture. Also love the humor and how he isn't afraid to call out...Read full review »

Because each episode is short, the stupid sarcasm and analogies are sufferable enough to get to provide value. But just barely. His tone deaf sense of humor detracts from his objectives.
