A perfect size weekly podcast from the lovely Esther and Giles.

I enjoy the podcast but listening to you both breathlessly, almost hysterically, defending the Starmers for accepting gifts was painful. The point isn’t that they need clothes and protection from the public at events, but who is paying for them and what they expect in return.

Love the content and Giles’s “Centrist Dad” metropolitan voice is need now more than ever. BUT Can you please sort out the audio quality. Does not sound like a professional Podcast. They have a producer on hand so I assume this is deliberate. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Love this podcast. Giles and Esther are fast, funny and refreshingly honest. There’s a delicious dollop of cynicism to their discussions, which (imo) is much needed in this effing boring, virtue-signalling, politically correct, woke/cancel-culture era we’ve all been straight-jacketed into…. Keep...Read full review »

Probably the most real podcasters that I listen to. That’s what makes it so good.

Ugh
Boring, love sound of own voices and why oh why do they shout into the microphone. Goes from too quiet to REALLY LOUD in a second.

Where is Giles where is Esther? I am missing their banter. O K so his resto column is back but please don’t give up on the glorious podcast you two - I just love it - better than all the rest of the half baked crap you get others doing - footballers & the other dregs! Come back pretty...Read full review »

I have listened to a few episodes now and really enjoy some of the topics covered, however unfortunately the style of presenting is annoying. Having two presenters talking over each other, shouting into the mic or at other just lets the Podcast down. It’s not often I have to turn a programme off...Read full review »

What a pair of boring divs. Never listen again

I can’t wait until they actually start punching one another🤣

Great content and witty humour only problem is it sounds like Giles is shouting at various times when you’re headphones are at full volume
Plutofan101 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 04/29/22
You spark off each other nicely and it sounds unscripted, but dial down the public school drawl please. “Novry” “asly” “cleetly” “wlever” can be enunciated as “Not very”, “absolutely”, “completely“ and “whatever”.

Totally brilliant. Funny, informative and a portrait of a marriage. Esther is fantastic too. And the cats. Inspirational.

Ignore the negative Twitter rant morons you gorgeous Coren’s. You are kind and thoughtful people blessed with very funny bones (and a huge measure of intellect). Keep up the good work…..we need you!

Love the podcast and so sad to hear about your terrible week - don’t ever give up being you
36vicky36 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 11/05/21
One episode of listening to this gibbering pillock who can’t finish a single one of his inane thoughts before motoring onto the next dull thing he thinks is “edgy”. Abysmal
Dustalex111 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 07/05/21
Love the podcast but today there were 3 ads for the Apple TV Oprah show. Obviously not the presenters’ fault but if Apple keep this up, I’m out.
sop.mo0 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 05/21/21
A podcast portraying a mostly-fictional slice of life in the Coren household. You are only meant to have semi-seriously belief that Giles Coren is a boorish man child who makes his wife (Esther) feel less than whole, but in every episode, there’s always a comment or tone that make you think “what...Read full review »

Enjoy the normal podcast and really like desert island crisps. BUT can’t believe that neither you, nor Ben, managed to find viscount biscuits! Just google!!! Had them again, after many years, during the first lockdown - still good!

I love these two, they are so bright and articulate and they say what the rest of us are thinking which is a relief these days! Really look forward to each new episode as it’s super fun and they are so well suited it’s insane!

I have just found this podcast and have been loving the Giles-Esther dynamic - but then this Crisps thing pops up. Please, more of the domestic duo. Good as they are we can hear ego massaging sleb interviews anywhere.
Feline McGroovy via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 03/16/21
I don’t understand the complaints from people who say he talks too fast. The diction and grammar are perfect, marred only by occasional profanity, there are no glottal stops, and the whole is a witty feast of unreason and a flow of cynicism. Would the malcontents prefer an inarticulate oaf?
Kim O'Hara via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 03/07/21
Dear Giles and Esther, I love you both. I’ve just discovered your podcast (advertised in The Times article on Saturday) so decided to start on Number One and work my way forward. I’m already dreading reaching 2021 and having to wait for a week for a top up (I’m currently mainlining it as I type)....Read full review »

Should be prescribed listening; life’s too short to miss this opportunity for glorious wit and sublime repartee. Only downside, Friday on Times Radio is simply not enough!!
fluffijo via Apple Podcasts · Ireland · 02/14/21
Only thing that could make it better would be more Esther. Or an Esther-led spin-off series with interviews etc? Just a thought, guys…

This is a brilliant podcast. Hilarious, original and always leaves you wanting more. Love it.

Giles sounds like the guy you would hate to get stuck with at a party. 🤒

This really is the dregs of podcasting. Never have I come across someone so insipid, entitled and delusional as Giles Coren. Avoid.
Grethtfsecg via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 01/23/21
I decided to listen due to the review in The Times. However they both talk so quickly I cannot understand half they are saying. Impossible to listen to! Slow down guys!

They are hilarious and so bright!

Any chance you could do an episode where you are both in a quiet reflective mood with a touch of sincerity? Just for balance.

As an English woman living in Australia my podcast worlds collided today when journalist Annabel Crabb related a Giles Coren story in her podcast Chat 10 Looks 3 (Episode: 146). Her colleague Leigh Sales (not familiar with the work of Giles) enquires if Mr Coren was still alive... An odd story...Read full review »

Love the usual pod but, as per a previous reviewer, can we have a Desert Island Crisps pod too? They have been excellent as well.
