I listened to one show, an interview with Richard Thaler. Won’t listen again. Thaler was great but the interviewer just seemed intent on arguing and goading his interviewee so that even when they were agreeing with each other the interviewer seemed outraged.

Incompetence
Terrible interview with Rothman about Israel’s judicial reforms today where Sackur was clearly at loss a to counter Rothman on the same intellectual level. The British arrogance… A discussion about democracy as the crux argument used by both sides in this problem would have been very interesting....Read full review »

Slapping.
Stephen Sackur should be allowed to give some of the delusional interviewees, like former Russian political advisers, a good slapping whilst conducting the interview.
