My ‘go to’ rugby podcast. Always informative and interesting. An excellent listen, a great window on the Irish teams. Bernard’s unique experience and perspective, as international player and coach, gives him unparalleled insight into the rugby world. An articulate, eclectic mix of experience,...Read full review »

Insightful analysis of Irish rugby; always a pleasure and worth the time The commercial supporter, DoneDeal Motors, has a fantastic semi-punk song at the end; the only podcast where I listen all the way especially to hear the advertiser's jingle.Read full review »

Even the quick 30 Minute free pod is packed with lots of insight not just on Irish Rugby but how the game is played.

I understand they are going behind a paywall. I used to listen to Newstalk golf podcast with spawells Damian McGrane (?) etc but then they went to acast? And behind a €3.99 paywall. Forget it. These subscriptions at €50 per year are poor value compared to Spotify and Netflix. Goodbye Newstalk...Read full review »

Hugely Munster-centric. Will probably unsubscribe soon as most content going to paid membership only.

Jackman has grown on me and comes across really knowledgeable. Murray kinsella is excellent. The host’s style while it lends to a good open discussion doesn’t really do it for me, very enthusiastic and has good knowledge of the game but tends to turn his questions into monologues in which he asks...Read full review »

The three regulars (Jackman, Kinsella, Gavin make this so good. It could be better by adding they Ulster guy, Gary I think? He’s great. If you have an absence in further, get him on instead of Mike Sherry. Nice guy but listening to him is no better than a player interview. He’s far too close to...Read full review »

Top class podcast! The contributors use clear language that means us non-rugby players can understand what’s being said. I look forward to my Friday morning walks to bring them along. Love it, love it, love it.

Just Jackman ranting 50% of the time at this stage, usually about Munster. As if he has all the answers. This week: A young lad leaves Connacht, somehow talks back around to moaning about James Cronin. Ireland come third in a few six nations, Joey Carbery moved provinces seems to be his bugbear...Read full review »

One of the best rugby pods out there for technical analysis and a good Bernard Jackman Rant. Nothing better!

The trio are excellent at breaking down both the games and issues around rugby in general. The views are really well balanced and gives you plenty food for thought!

If you want to hear a podcast that offers genuine game analysis rather than an opportunity to exercise pundits’ egos then here it is.

This pod is top quality. I make sure I never miss the weekly pod, it always touches on the most important topics trending in Irish rugby as well as the rugby world. Extremely insightful. Keep up the good work lads. Justin

Living in the North of England it’s difficult to keep track of the rugby back home easily but the insight and analysis on this pod make it a weekly staple.

Great for highlighting the important details and having a willingness to go into some of the more offbeat stories, unlike a lot of other shows that stick with clichés and the most obvious angles. Come for well-founded rugby insights; stay for Gavan’s wild predictions.

I greatly enjoy the podcast. Murray’s analytical insights are excellent. There’s no better podcast focused on Irish rugby. Please take this criticism as constructive: the opening and closing voice montages include the phrase “If you’re an accountant and lose your job nobody really notices”. ...Read full review »

For access, analysis and the broadest coverage, this is the only Irish rugby podcast worth listening to. Compulsory listening every week. Would give it 6 stars if I could.

Very insightful and intelligent rugby discussions. I look forward to this podcast every week. The lads have really good energy and well thought out points and discussions. Also a nice little bit of banter. Keep it up!

An informative podcast giving even-handed, non-partisan analysis- Casey brings levity; Kinsella and Jackman the brevity

Best rugby podcast going. Highly informative, very entertaining, but also calming. If you’re liable (as I am) to getting too RYLEd up and over the top up by your rugby, Gav, Murray and Jackman will bring reason back into the equation more often than not. It is also a rugby podcast that is more...Read full review »

Murray Kinsella is probably the best rugby analyst in the country and worth the listen alone. Add in Gavan Casey’s hosting skills and great guests and pundits and you’ve got one of the top podcasts for Irish rugby fans! Couldn’t recommend it more.

The 42 Journalists (especially Murray) are great. They are informed and articulate, as well as asking insightful questions. All of this is very compelling. Love Murray’s insights but I find Andy Dunne just rehashes the same points that he makes on Newstalk or other podcasts. The pod is probably not helped by it coming out on Thursdays as it all just feels a bit repetitive if you listen to other rugby podcasts. Worth a listen for Murray Kinsealy though

In fact I think he is so great - I think he should get both parachutes. But seriously, I also listen to another podcast to which I think Gavin is being compared to and I disagree wholeheartedly.
