Entitled and the least maternal view of birth.
Definitely focused towards a more privileged audience. Bec Judd is not relatable at all, very entitled with her suggestions of pre-birth facials and massages and the “superior” private birthing option. The least maternal person to host. Most women cannot afford these lovely suggestions, but thanks for your insight. Also some of your guests, specifically the midwife, did not feel comforting at all and definitely not who I would want on my side during pregnancy and birth. Very narrow minded and set in her ways, no options, just how you must do things. Making fun of your patients wishes and hopes for birth is pretty disappointing too. Not a very helpful view for any women let alone those with very little knowledge of what’s to come.

Look I wanted to like this, but between the attitudes of Judd and the other guests I tuned out. Beauty prepping is depicted as more important than epidurals vs active (standing) births. I'm hopeful that there's a better Australian option out there.Read full review »

Absolutely brilliant podcast to help first time mums prepare for what’s to come. Thank you Monique and Bec!

As others have said, it’s definitely targeted towards a more wealthy audience with little diversity. I was a bit put off by the discussion about getting a spray tan to help you feel...Read full review »
