Could use some diversity
Overall I didn’t hate this podcast and it was informative, but my biggest gripe with this podcast is the assumption that it’s listeners are flush with cash (discussions of fancy catered baby parties, babymoons to Broome and buying designer clothing for your maternity wardrobe!) Also the private vs. public discussion assumed everyone can just decide this for themselves. It really lacked some perspective. There was also no discussion of anything but smooth sailing pregnancies - it would have been great to hear discussion of complications and the realities that some women face during pregnancy - things like screening tests are glossed over and I think the podcast could add some actual real value if they addressed these. So while I’m glad I listened and I got something out of it, the podcast left me feeling a little annoyed - and patronised in places.
