But it really just felt like a platform for Midwife Cath to sell her book. Not a lot of down to earth information. It focuses on what a wealthier mother might have access to. And very poor information on things like the cascade of intervention.

Not a bad podcast, but as it was recorded pre-covid, a lot of things have changed ie. length of hospital stays. As others have said, it’s definitely targeted towards a more wealthy audience with little diversity. This is a fairly inaccessible version of pregnancy and birth for most women and feels out of touch and wreaking of privilege. I really gave this a good go but I simply cannot relate to a wealthy WAG and the experiences she’s been able to pay for.
