Season 4 is starting off so strong! The mood of the episodes, the information, and the 6PM consistent release time,… LOVE IT!

Talk about melodramatic and fake.

Please rethink the background sound and music. Apart from being ugly it makes it very difficult to hear the speech especially if you have hearing difficulties. A less is more situation.

I love this podcast. In comparison I love culpable, up and vanished and unrestorable, your own backyard, and this one here!!!!

This is a good story and very detailed which I love. But throughout, there are annoying, distracting side effects, which add nothing to the podcast.

This guy and his female partner have done nothing in any of these cases. They have just used the families to make money off of this podcast. Every season is a failure. All he manages to do is stir up more trouble in these small communities. Such a sad outcome. I will not continue listening to...Read full review »

I loved the first two season and IFWU , objectively it feels like your team is overdoing the production, the sound effects the sound design the new editor even using the sound stripping all takes away from the show.

Where in the world does this guy get off doing three seasons of a podcast, hundreds of episodes, and not finding a single answer? I feel bad for the families who had their lives upended again by this tyrant just to be in the exact same position they were when he started.

Absolutely loving this podcast. I really appreciate the amount of time and energy that’s been put in to the investigative side of it. I’m just on season 3 and wow. I’m hooked. You have so much patience and bravery, because I bet at times it’s very intimidating, I couldn’t do it. Keep it up James...Read full review »

Love the way James goes about doing his podcasts. They captivate you from the first and second episodes. He gets right to it the important questions even though they can be very uncomfortable and hard to ask. Have listened to all three unsolved cases and will continue to follow him and Sara....Read full review »

Meh
Is anyone honestly surprised that a bunch of meth heads keep getting caught in lies Most are suffering from mental illnesses brought on by prolonged drug abuse Very repetitive going over the same statements made by drug addicts

I came across a FB post about Logan’s disappearance 8 years ago. The post referenced your podcast to learn the details of the search for him. I thought it was really interesting and I applaud you for not giving upon him. He’s out there somewhere and I hope the truth is revealed.

Season 1 and 2 was good, interesting and sad. Season 3 was long, drawn out, repetitive, overly dramatic, unnecessary interviews, too many opinions and little facts. I am up to episode 40 and desperately forcing myself to continue to listen and only doing so because once I start something I have...Read full review »

Season 3 has been my favorite so far but all seasons are excellent. James and Sara take investigative podcasting to a whole new level and the videos are so well done. If you haven’t joined their Patreon, run over there and do it! Thank you for such a well done podcast. I hope Nancy Logan and...Read full review »

I managed to listen to a little bit into episode two and I just couldn’t keep going. The music is almost the same noise level as the storytelling and it’s just useless and utterly annoying. Such a shame as this is probably a good podcast. I also don’t think, it requires an entire song as it...Read full review »

I honestly tried to give this a chance but it got to the point that it’s exploitative and sensational style was just too much. I believe the host began with good intentions but quickly let the podcast become a lynch mob against a group of vulnerable people. There is no doubt that certain...Read full review »

This is an investigative true crime podcast at its finest. I’ve listened to every serial story out there, and this remains one of the best. I disagree with other reviews here about season 3 being too much, redundant, needing editing, and feel that James and Sara are trying to be as transparent as...Read full review »

As a murder mystery junkie of 30 years, Hide and Seek is gripping! James does a fabulous job staying neutral and enticing people to talk. The staff has created episodes that I cannot turn off, and I hope the seasons continue for many years!

This is truly a fantastic podcast. I have listened to just about every podcast on the market and this will always remain my favorite. James is truly fantastic. If being blunt, I don’t like the addition of Sara. Im a silent follower of the podcast group on Facebook. I don’t comment snd I don’t...Read full review »

While I enjoyed all three seasons, I agree with others that these Season 3 episodes are redundant and could be cut in half while retaining all pertinent information. I do, however, like the recaps and reviews. In fairness there are a lot of people involved in this, so reminding us of things is...Read full review »

There are many true crime stories told my as many people as you can imagine. All of them have their own slant. Their own story telling style. This doesn’t feel like a “style”. It has no gimmick, no weird laughing while telling and no cavalier method of adding “entertainment” to a story of...Read full review »

James is truly an angel on earth. He cares so intensely and I can tell he whole-heartedly wants justice for the victims and their families. Sara is equally phenomenal and ridiculously smart. Though I have found season 3 to be fascinating, I also have to recognize that the investigative journalism in this case seems so irresponsible. Don’t listen to the negative reviews! The crazy “rumorville” or “dragging on” claims is actually EXACTLY what Brittany’s case is all about. I’m late into this podcast as well, but the whole time I listened, all I thought was that the cops or some kind of authority has got to be involved. To those...Read full review »

Season 3 is so unfocused. It’s just like listening to dramatic reality tv. I miss the meaningful investigative podcast that seasons 1 & 2 offered. Brittany deserves better.

Fascinating story, but after 52 episodes (!!!) just in the third season, this series needs some serious editing and professional investigation efforts. The last episode was literally focused on how great they are as a podcast. The rest of the season is random slow drip rumorville , no concern for...Read full review »

I am late to this podcast; I just discovered it Christmas 2023. I am an AVID true crime listener, and I’m shocked I hadn’t heard of this one! It’s sooooo good!! It is produced very well and James does a fantastic job. But I am still perturbed and don't understand the role of Sarah and where her added value lies. This host needs to learn how to edit. It’s just lazy playing dozen of hours of interviews that go nowhere. I enjoyed the first season but if this one is actually going anywhere, I’ll never know because I’m not listening to 45+ hours of nothing

I’m impressed by James’ and Sara’s persistence at finding out the truth for Brittany’s family. James has a non-judgmental approach interviewing people who have troubles in life and sometimes blur fact and fiction. So frustrating. I really appreciate the integrity of James and Sara.

I like this podcast, but season 3 is losing steam quickly.
