Blatantly Biased
I expected to see a decent look at both sides of an argument and a philosophical treatment of why we do what we do. Instead, the very first episode gives a worst case scenario and gives a damning judgement about what "should" happen. It also ignores entire aspects of the question, i.e. belief in an afterlife, potential for nihilism when meaning cannot extend beyond death, etc. I really found this hard to listen to.Read full review »

I've only listened to the first episode so far (plus a couple of previews of future episodes) but I'm already hooked. It's a great blend of history, philosophy, and human interest. Reminds me of This American Life or RadioLab, but with a philopsophical bent. Highly recommended!Read full review »
