Superb combination of philosophy and narrative journalism
Every other narrative podcast that you like (probably) focuses at least 3/4 of the time on issues with significant philosophical dimensions. But they seldom seem to ask philosophers for their views. Lots of philosophers have made their own beds by vanishing into ever decreasing circles of technical obscurantism. But lots and lots are just really smart, often wise, people who have thought seriously about all the things that matter to you, and have a hell of a lot of insight when asked. This podcast taps that untapped resource, with a guide who is himself on a journey of discovery in each episode. And it's all put together beautifully, in a really well-produced package, built around intrinsically interesting stories. Bravo.Read full review »
