Maddening. PLEASE don't let guests read their responses
I'm listening to an author who is obviously just reading her answers to the interviewer's questions off a page in front of her, rendering the podcast unlistenable. She is ruining a topic that would otherwise be interesting and she is one of the few in the world who knows something about the topic! Why not just respond to the interviewer? It's maddening. Wide range of topics and points in history. Often dives into various facets of history and perspectives (ie anthropological, military, cultural). I enjoy downloading this podcast twice a month.
