What we now expect from the BBC
I access a great number of podcasts and to my mind this has been one of the worst. Apart from the poor technical quality, the first five minutes was nothing more than a brazen BBC advert and I for one am getting SICK and TIRED at the way this propagandist, extorting, vile organisation stops at nothing to promote itself. So Laurence Reece has made a few programmes - big bloody deal. His "thoughts" on oral history were amateurish (and, naturally, entirely self-congratulatory). In fact the best thing about this podcast was the sound quality, which was terrible. What do they do with the 3 Billion pounds of public money, apart from paying inane celebs and irrelevant thought commissars millions? Well it's no longer on my list. Wish I could say the same about the BBC in general, but of course I am compelled to pay for it.Read full review »
