Amateur hour
April's BBC History magazine podcast is awful. Peppered by the author's irritating "yeps" and "mmmss" in the background when he's interviewing people is bad enough - but the sound quality for the section featuring Richard Holmes is appalling. It sounds like he is being interviewed over the phone whilst taking a bath! Okay, the podcast is free - but quality like this isn't going to catch many new readers of the magazine - or listeners. I've clicked the unsubscribe button already. Come on BBC - you can do better than this.Read full review »

Probably one of the least professional productions that have come out of the BBC. So very disappointing. Poor quality sound, interviews...in fact, there is very little to say to redeem the podcast.Read full review »

I found this to be an enticing preview of what is in the magazine. Some of the items made me want to read more-a good sign!
