The perfect advertising method
I've been listening to the BBC History magazine podcast for nearly a year. After the first one, I started looking around Borders and Barnes & Nobles for copies of the magazine, but was only erratically successful. I finally broke down and subscribed, and my first subscription copy arrived this week. The podcast is a wonderful teaser for the magazine, and is a supplement -- there are segments of the podcast that don't appear in the magazine, or give you a much fuller view of a short printed article. Even if you don't get the magazine, the podcasts stand on their own, and give you fascinating taste of history around the world and across the eras.Read full review »

The awkward breathing directly into the mic was so annoying and frustrating, it became unberable. Shame really...
