Does what it says on the label
All the history of all the bibles. This is a good podcast if you want to know what is the actual story of the bible but don't want to read all the bible. The good thing about this podcast is that it both tells you the story of the bible but also gives you some brief insights into how academics or theologians think about these stories. This is not a religious podcast. Think of it more as a podcast that discusses the bible as a book, rather than the word of god. It discusses who and when the books might have been written and how the stories fit in to the historical contexts. It is delivered with a lovely clear tone and is very accessible.Read full review »
