Well produced and presented podcast, good audio and presents information that is new to me, it’s not perfect but it’s pretty good.

To much ads. 2min of real content all other are ads and repetitive announcements. Also, too many content from others and some uninteresting stories.

Mark Vinet explores the history of North America through a unique lens; he has created an interesting and thoughtful show, which my partner and I both enjoy listening to. Great work!

Episode 251 was the last straw. This podcast is very biased now. Leaving this dumpster fire before it gets worse

Robotic delivery made me wonder if I was listening to a bot. Good info but the sentence structure also made it feel like it was just someone reading off of a sheet of paper, instead of telling a story, or having a conversation about history with the listener. I’m curious to hear how this man...Read full review »

The presenter comes across like middle school student who finds simple answers to complex issues. If you’re looking for in-depth analysis and nuance, you may want to look elsewhere.

Mark Vinet’s podcast gives you an unvarnished look at the History of North America. He isn’t afraid to delve into the difficult topics, like slavery, but in an even-handed way.

Distorted and biased . Statues from Jim Crow traitors aren’t important to US. Native American baiter

Used to enjoy your podcast until you started your radical right commercials and commentary. Signing off for good. Too bad…

Wow, i love this podcast! Each episode is the perfect length with great audio production. Mark presents a each subject in a concise manner and does not get caught up in the digressions other podcasters often fall into. Viewing history on a contential level, instead of just with certian political...Read full review »

This show takes the long view of the history of Canada, the United States and Mexico and does it in a very interesting way. It is a great story, and in the hands of this host, it's something that keeps me coming back for more episodes. The episodes are short enough for a ride to work, and I...Read full review »

Many history podcasts can be dull as the reading is a bit boring - not the case here, Mark brings life to every episode and is well worth the listen.

The History of North America by Mark Vines is a new show, but is already showing great promise. Episodes are concise and to the point, which is great for newcomers. Over time, I expect the show will grow to become a valuable resource for interested listeners, around the world!

Excellent summary of the history of North America. Not being restricted to one country but across Mexico and Canada as well as USA, gives a fresh perspective and reveals less well-known stories

Mark is extremely knowledgeable and provides an excellent presentation of a great topic. The History of North America is an enormous topic, but Mark makes a coherent and approachable story of this grand story!

Mr. Vinet devotes too much time to a repetitive introduction in the beginning of each podcast, and far too much time to a repetitive sales pitch at the end. These two portions of the podcast can occupy as much as 20% or more of the podcast’s total duration, and so while the information presented...Read full review »

I gave this podcast five stars because it deserved it, not because I was obligated. I hated history class in high school and it was one of my lowest grades. If this host was my teacher, I would’ve majored in history in college. This podcast is fantastic, stays on the subject, is well written, and...Read full review »
