Instead of a list of kings and wars and family intrigue, the author focus on the whys and how early German history led to modern Europe. “Where to start. This must be the most boring history podcast I have ever listened to. Completely scripted and read from a sheet including the very bad jokes. After listening to the first six episodes I can’t stand it any longer. Medieval history is my favourite thing but this one is a joy killer.”
