“This podcast is a great way to learn more about WWI in small chunks. Most people aren't motivated to work through a comprehensive book on the war, so why not get it via podcast. The maps on the website are a useful adjunct to podcast. Maybe in a few years, Google Glass will allow you to see the map while listening.
Are names mispronounced? Sure. I also listen to professionally produced audiobooks (oodles of them) where readers mispronounce common words, not to mention names. I work with people who mispronounce the names of colleagues they've worked with for 10 years. That's life.”Read full review »
