Mr. Livesay fills the niche between an exhaustive university lecture and a high school textbook. He gleans from a few sources on each subject. Since I don't have the time to even read one of those tomes, I appreciate his homework as I listen on the train commuting home from work.Read full review »

Contains factual inaccuracies and a certain bias that leafs one to believe only few sources are used. There's another new ww1 podcast, plus when diplomacy fails is covering the July crisis (and covered the war earlier), and Hardcore History is doing ww1 now.Read full review »
