“My gf from the "rooms" told me about this podcast and I couldn't be more grateful. I started listening (obsessively- and all out of order) when I was going through the worst of my breakup with a man I just couldn't...can't (working on it) let go of. I haven't gotten over this hurdle but ffffff I could not have gotten through those early days without these girls and the glimmer of hope they bring to my life. They remind me to be proud to be a sober woman today. I always have been but sometimes I want to turn that part of me off and just be "normal". Normal is boring! These girls have opened up my mind to new ways of growing in my recovery - and it's exciting - excited! There is so much more to discover - there is so much out there to help me - support me - inspire me. And I love sharing the nuggets of wisdom I get from these girls and their guests - I feel honoured to be privy to these conversations. It makes me want to talk and write and share everything that pops into my head - Laura and Holly give me permission to do this. I can speak my mind and not be afraid of the judgment - the backlash- the pity... the indifference. It feels really good, really ffff'ing good. Thank you guys- THANK YOU.
