One of my favourite podcasts ever - Elizabeth is the most thoughtful, considered, clever and witty podcast hosts around and never ‘fails’ to inspire or disappoint with her interesting, honest and ever brave guests!

These podcasts are excellent - always entertaining guests and the host always manages to ask the questions we want the answers to! Lots of brilliant topics covered and have helped me a lot with mental health and also viewing my ‘failures’ with more positivity. Highly recommend

Just when I thought I couldn’t hold Queen Jess in higher esteem, she smashes the How to Fail league with the best episode yet. Defeat is data collection🏆

I’ve been listening to this podcast for quite a while. I don’t think I’m the central target demographic as a 51 year old man, judging by the ads and sponsors, but I can’t rate it more highly. It’s incisive, fascinating and really helps to see things from other points of view. Highly recommend it,...Read full review »

Another brilliant episode in the series! Kazuo Ishiguro is a fascinating and intriguing man. For someone who loves Japanese authors I’m ashamed to say I’ve not read any of his books. Apsobloodylutely brilliant podcasts, and the reason my neighbours think I’m to be dealt with caution due to my shouting of “too sodding right” and “yep that’s me” because I’m listening in the garden with EarPods on loud. Keep up the good work 👍🏻😃👍🏻

I really enjoy the interesting guests but Elizabeth Day is the worst interviewer. Self indulgent, inauthentic and self absorbed; I can’t bear listening to get sickly fawning over the guests. I fast forward her speaking where I can but does not make for pleasurable and easy listening

I love Elizabeth and adore listening to her podcast. Her interview style is so revealing yet unintrusive (not a word but should be!) and I’m constantly learning more about myself through listening to her conversations. Would highly recommend. Thank you a thousand times for hours of enjoyment.

I’ve listened to the podcast for over a year now. In my mind I replay many wise words of your guests and yourself whenever the ongoing Covid lockdown starts depressing me. My all time favourite is still the episode with Alain de Botton. Thank you Elisabeth.
