Highly recommend this podcast. Elizabeth’s interviewing style is just great - she knows when to pause and let the interviewee speak, very like Graham Norton. My favourites are Mo Gowdat, Jamie Dornan(died laughing), Graham Norton and so many more. The recent one with Stanley Tucci is...Read full review »

One of my favourite podcasts, Elizabeth day is a brilliant interviewer, she clearly researches and listens to her guests and engages in a natural conversation. Excellent guest too!

Having previously enjoyed episodes of this show, (especially Tom Kerridge) I was really disappointed to hear the Ed Miliband episode. His first failure was listed as a failure to get a first at Oxford. Me too, as the saying goes. But then like many people, I failed to get there in the first...Read full review »

A huge thanks to Chimamanda and Elizabeth for the bonus episode - so real and moving. So much courage shown in the rawness of grief. Spoke to my own situation so profoundly. Thank you both so much

I love Elizabeth Day’s podcast hosting/interviewing style, she’s so interesting as she is but manages to bring on interesting and introspective guests. Never fail to be surprised by the range of guests and by how deep Elizabeth delves into their lives.

Love the idea behind this and Elizabeth has such a diverse range of guests on the podcast. The conversations are truly illuminating and I’ve learned a lot that I can apply to my own life and the way I think about certain topics. Revisiting older episodes now and looking forward to new ones.

What a refreshing podcast! The interview questions are thoughtful and interesting. The one with Gloria Steinem was pure joy! Many popular podcast interviewers make the mistake of dominating the discussion by not engaging the interviewee more. I don’t see that here and it’s great!
