Love your podcast! It’s like hanging out with a great girlfriend who is full of fun, humour, and wit, in addition to being extraordinarily empathetic, and brilliantly smart. ELIZABETH DAY FOR THE NEW HOUSEWIVES OF LONDON PLEASE! “the voice of reason who also loves a good party”

What a great show. Elizabeth’s warmth and honesty invites guests to open up and share raw truths. At its best, it’s like listening to a genuine heart-to-heart between friends: substantial and deeply human. I particularly enjoyed the conversation with Sara Pascoe. Excellent work, Elizabeth!

But ANDY COHEN! I don’t get starstruck but he is someone I would love to meet so I hope that he was just as amazing as he came across & that Elizabeth got to appreciate him for me! Elizabeth interviews amazing people and this episode was no exception. In my darkest days this podcast can be...Read full review »

My absolute favourite episode so far has been with Adam Buxton. I’m a huge fan of his podcast, he’s such a fascinating man! I think Elizabeth is on Adams podcast too, so that’s next on my list, Elizabeth is wonderful, just a lovely genuine person and brilliant interviewer!!

The lack of knowledge around her own clear borderline eating disorder, harmful subscription to gender norms, inability to note her privilege or how problematic the stuff she said about diet culture was. I’ve never left a podcast review but felt strongly as I usually love this podcast but this...Read full review »

Collagen is a protein that breaks down into aminoacids the minute you ingest it. The body then uses these aminoacids to make whatever proteins it needs the most (which might be collagen or might not). While being a great source of protein, collagen powders / supplements do not have the benefits...Read full review »

Excellent guests. I particularly rate Kate winslet - what a woman. She changed the way I think about everything being a woman Elizabeth asks all the right questions and has a really sincere empathetic way about her. Love love love

Such a good sort is Kate all that’s well of the English is in her. This was a great chat well done Elizabeth! Lee Miller has fascinated me since adolescence. Trailblazer. I can’t wait to see the film & I loved very much that it took 7 years to bring to the screen. The archive must be amazing 😍

I really don’t want that nonsense in my feed. I followed this show because it wasn’t full of nonsense and waffle.

I really enjoyed this episode with Angel Strawbridge, I’m a fan of the show and even went to see them on their book tour. I always wondered what happened with the leaked audio but I obviously knew there was more to the story. Angel was so right to wait before she discussed it as it gives it more...Read full review »

I was intrigued by the name of this (and loved the audacity of the concept/title) and have been listening for ages BUT find it gets stronger and stronger. Fascinating guests & Elizabeth is such a credible interviewer. She allows her interviewees such scope to fully express themselves & doesn’t talk over them. Always interesting, always a warm & inviting experience. Highly recommend- and such a pleasure to find such a gem of a podcast in...Read full review »

Elizabeth is a skilled interviewer and has such great, interesting guests on the podcast. However, her style is overly obsequious which can be uncomfortable to listen to and at times comes across as inauthentic as she is desperate to find common ground and be liked by every guest. The format...Read full review »

My head’s spinning and heart’s so full after listening to Elif’s words. Such eloquence. Her words, poetic; her philosophies intelligent, emotionally and logically. Thank you Elizabeth for hosting and interviewing well. The ads are a necessary evil I guess; I have to say they did jar while I was...Read full review »

I love the honesty of this podcast. Favourite episode so far is Parts 1&2 of Phoebe Waller-Bridge interview. So interesting to hear the backstory of Fleabag and all that went into writing and producing it. Well worth a listen!

I’ve been following Elizabeth for many years now and adore this podcast and her outlook on life. My friend introduced me to this podcast and I was bit like ‘why would you want to celebrate your failures’- this podcast is the highlight of my week and I find it so interesting. I’m all about celebrating the failures now

Love the pod, but compelled to write as some time ago my brother once met Angel and Dick as he worked at the theatre they were on at. He said they were absolutely vile to everyone behind the scenes that they didn’t deem important. Just wanted to share for balance.

Absolutely fabulous quality pod with consistently eclectic and interesting guests. Day manages to ensure you feel like a pal eavesdropping on an intimate conversation. This fellow Derry girl highly recommends!

Love the podcast and Elizabeth. The sweaty Betty as is very annoying. I don’t want to be told to wear shorts, I want tops that are not cropped please, I would like freedom to choose style.
RosemaryFI via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 05/31/24
Elizabeth is probably the best interviewer there is. Others could learn from her - knowing when to ask and when to listen. That is, letting the interviewee speak. This podcast makes me feel better about having failed in my life and is so refreshing. But to feature a fake like Katie Price… 🤮

Just listened to the episode which had me in floods of tears. She spoke so beautifully about her family and especially her mother. I know her music but didn’t know very much more and this was a lovely insight to the person she is.

Where have I been?? Having listened to pod casts for years, somehow this has escaped my radar. I’ve started at the beginning and listed to them all. Elizabeth Day really listens and is so emotionally amerced in her guests and asks such eloquent and thoughtful questions. She’s a true expert.

So many things I love about this podcast. I love the honesty and unfiltered authenticity. The only exception to this is some of the so-called ‘A-listers’ who often present as a bit fake and rehearsed.
