I like you Morgan....
But I have misophonia, and I struggle immensely mentally with mouth sounds. It's not just you. Unfortunately, the rage those type of sounds bring out in me...well, it's not good. Some episodes you're fine, but others just aren't manageable for me. If you could take care of those sounds: drink water, move your face further away from the mic... anything...I'll be ever so grateful! I'll try to say this next part without sounding cruel, and please understand it comes from a good place.... It sounds like you possibly don't do any prior read through of the scripts. Is this true? The reason I ask is I'm sure it would help your reading go so much smoother. And....I really miss your dry sense of humour that you used to sprinkle throughout each episode. Where did it go? It was literally the first reason I started following your pod! Please bring back your humour Morgan! You've always been honest and upfront about your mental health...perhaps you're struggling with depression? (I (too) have been struggling with it for the last couple years. But I'd love for you to reach out and message me on FB, if talking with someone who's also been there will help (Jaye andthe Rip) It's a genuine sincere offer, I promise. One last thing, and again I'm not trying to be cruel... I'm just trying to give it to you as straight up and honest as I can. Your writer should really rethink her tendencies of scouring the thesaurus in search of 'smart-sounding', multiple-syllabled words. Even if a person actually uses those type of words in everyday conversation, using them online is another beast altogether, and unfortunately, it **will** have the opposite effect of what one might intend: Best case - it comes across as verbose, with the appearance of trying too hard to 'sound smart'. Worst case - it can come off as inflated, arrogant, and quite cringey. Keeping in mind your content and fan base, plain language will always be more relatable for the average reader, or in your case, listener. Please, please Morgan....consider these constructive criticisms as advice from a genuine fan.Read full review »

Pretty good podcast not as good as Sword and Scale but I’d rank it right behind them. Really in-depth maybe a little to much info especially with the molestations most people don’t want to hear every horrible detail.
