I can’t stop laughing—so good and so true
I grew up in the subculture. Listening to this podcast is so validating of my experience. I like that it’s a conversation between a former evangelical and someone who grew up without religion. Hearing Brooke’s reactions I am realizing that Evangelicalism, and Dobson in particular, are even more unhinged than I could previously admit. I am laughing hysterically the whole time. So as painful as it is to revisit this nonsense, it’s also really really fun.
