Wonderful content, inconsistent audio
Listening to this, I’m becoming more aware of how much of a hold this man had on my childhood, without us having listened to his show. White evangelical culture has James Dobson’s fingerprints all over it, and this podcast shows those fingerprints. His connections to eugenics were initially surprising, but upon further reflection make sense. What a wonderful service these two are doing in making this podcast. It’s just a shame that the audio is so inconsistent. Jake is often barely audible while Brooke’s voice comes through clearly. To be fair, my hearing isn’t the best. But if they were the same volume, it’d be less of an issue. I’m going to keep listening, but would love if this issue was fixed.

Two professionals walk you through what these ideals do to the...Read full review »
