It’s not “object permanence”
Sorry but I can’t let this detail go. People with ADHD do not struggle with object permanence. Object permanence is a term that refers to the understanding that objects continue to exist even when they are out of sight. It’s a term used specifically in the context of child development. You do not literally forget that your friends exist if you don’t see them, you just have poor working memory.
