“Olly and the Team. Thanks so much for creating such a wonderful learning podcast for language leaners.
So Olly was kind enough to respond to my email with a link to my inquiry.
I'm a beginner in Mandarin and I'm getting better at reading/writing/speaking the language so decided just for fun I thought that I could learn another language with Mandarin. For about two weeks before I contacted Olly, I started learning Thai. At first it was in English but then I thought why not? Let's use Mandarin to learn basic Thai. What's the worst that could happen? Well, I didn't know where this would take me so I reached out to Olly.
I listened to episode 299 and 106 on Laddering. These two episodes were an eye opener for me. I didn't know there was a term for something like this. There's a lot of sense in what Olly discusses so I will be curious to see how my experience relates to the podcasts.
Anyway, I hope more information on this topic will be come available as I am curious about it.
Thank you again for all the good work you do and I will be following your lessons on language as I go through my journey.
Peace.

But anyone who has contact with Olly can cope with that! His podcasts are helpful, down to earth, and the right length, for me at any rate! ...”Read full review »
