Ideas used to be more
Ideas has always been a favourite show of mine. But why is it, that it doesn’t seem to live up to its reputation now?… It looks like they have lost their way and never found their footing again. One is taking a wild guess each time when tuning in; where before all shows were interesting, more academic, more researched, with good comments and context from Paul Kennedy; it’s only if the topic was not your cup of tea that you would stop listening perhaps, because the shows were all entertaining and well built but now, it is quite random, even if the topic is interesting, it’s far from sure if I will stay or get bored quickly… this was not thinkable before because you were hooked! Such a shame… because this show is a national treasure on the CBC. I am sure they can do better
