Thought-provoking
I grew up disliking the sermons during Shabbat services. Always thought they were -- for lack of a better term -- preachy. Self-righeous. Corny. But IKAR's sermons are so different. They always feel relevant, accessible. So human and un-adorned. I've been to services there and think both their rabbis are fantastic. Would recommend these to semons to anyone, Jewish or not, who cares about spirituality and engaging with our larger world.Read full review »

Really enjoy this podcast. Giving it 4 stars because audio is often out of balance. Host is loud and guests are quiet. I frequently adjust volume within a single episode.

I’m a shy Jew. Raised in a home where my Judaism was hidden. I’m no longer in that closet. But still shy. That’s to say I attend temple on this podcast. Xxxx
