This podcast saved my brain
I was hiking the Appalachian Trail and I was listening to podcasts like crazy while I walked all day. I quickly got really tired of listening to car talk, radio lab and TED talks. They were really good podcasts but I was missing the science in my life. So I went to McDonald's and downloaded all the scientific sounding podcasts I could find and this was the best one. It's easy enough to listen to because Matt's a really good conversationalist but it was in depth enough that his scientific guests sparked my mind and enabled me to think about in-depth concepts through my death march. Awesome for car rides and great for working in the office/lab. Many scientific podcasts are extremely dry but Matt presents data in a way that's really exciting and sometimes funny. 😊Read full review »

Great podcast with a nice blend of interviews and "field trips." Matt's affection for all kinds of plants is obvious, and he is a wonderful advocate for their importance in our lives, beyond our gardens and plates. Be sure to check out his YouTube videos as well.Read full review »
