Great except for host
Please, please, PLEASE move Melvyn on. He makes almost every episode downright uncomfortable. So much potential otherwise.

Quality broadcasting
As the programme was conceived and developed by Melvyn Bragg I think it would be churlish to oust him. I find him an excellent host. He is well prepared by his researchers and invites on genuine academics (not media stars) who know what they’re talking about. He manages the discussions well....Read full review »
