“I want to like this. The topics and experts are fantastic but Melvyn Bragg is so rude to them. He talks over them, tells them they’re wrong (often when they are experts in their field) and even tells them off. The whole thing made me cringe. After 5 episodes I’ve had enough. Dan Snow’s history podcast is so lovely in comparison. He cares passionately about the subject but is aware his guest is the most important part of each episode.”
