A truly compelling and heart breaking story
This was a very well done podcast. I believe in my heart of hearts that Ron was innocent. I related to Lisa and felt her pain so deeply losing my own father to opioid addiction. He was my dad. He talked too much sometimes and he was not falsely accused of a crime but he wasn’t a typical dad. As Lisa was telling funny stories of him I could relate to them all. my dad was never in a bad mood. He was always joking around with me. He was a professional baseball player in the 70s and 80s and because of his addiction to pain pills he later died with nothing. So to me this was not only a story about a an innocently convicted good man but also a story of a daughter And her dad.

After listening to the whole series, I definitely could not convict Trimboli on the evidence available. But other than him being the perpetrator, there isn't a clear reason why his dna keeps matching. Is it inappropriate sampling? Something nefarious behind the scenes? I don't think I can...Read full review »
