Does Anne Want a Solo Podcast?
This podcast follows a frustrating formula - Anne expresses her opinion, then Eric tries to follow, and Anne will talk over him and/or interrupt him. I continue to listen to it, because Anne and Eric are so knowledgeable, but it isn't fun. As a professional woman who has often been interrupted or talked over in the workplace, I completely understand that Anne's communications manner may be a defense mechanism she's developed over the course of her career, but it does not make for a good podcasting host, particularly working with someone as polite and well-mannered as Eric.Read full review »

I like the content of this podcast - often thoughtful, but they tend to talk over each other -especially Anne. Often I just want to shout "Shut Up" so we can hear what Eric is saying. Two violently high-strung critics Kool-Aid burst through each other’s sentences for 32 minutes weekly ..... as with a lot of film publication podcasts, these voices are so much more effective on the page than in recorded conversation.
