Couldn't Stop Listening
I listen to many podcasts across a broad range of subjects, but I always head to the science podcasts first. Many have great interviews and good production quality, but, for the most part, they seem aimed at a general, less "science minded" audience. I love that they are cheerleaders for science, but I find that, after awhile, I stop listening to them. I've heard Chris Mooney in many prior podcasts but never Indre Viskontas. However, the two of them together are a wonderful force for communicating science. I downloaded their first podcast today...then their second...third...I'm up to #8 as I type this. For me, personally, they are at the right level and they both are wonderful interviewers and deftly engage their interview subjects without pandering to the masses. That is to say, they show that they have a respect for the intelligence of their audience and I appreciate that. I can't wait to see what topics they tackle next. :)Read full review »

A focused and balanced podcast. The interviews are great, both in choice of guests and interview technique.
