Could learn from the IQ2US podcast
Some interesting discussions, especially the more lightweight and light-hearted ones - for example, the debate about whether Rembrandt or Vermeer is the greater artist was very entertaining. But in general this podcast could take a leaf from the US branch of Intelligence Squared. The IQ2US format is clearer and fairer (the "winner" of the debate is the side who increases their vote share the most, rather than whoever happens to come into the debate with the more popular position). The host of IQ2US is also a better moderator than the varying cast of hosts in the U.K. version.Read full review »

I might sound like a reverse hipster, but the US version really is better. The talks are OK and the debate topics can often be entertaining, but the moderation is pretty bad. This is a fantastic podcast if you want a wide angle lens of the major forces and trends shaping our world. A wide range of exciting topics and world renowned speakers. I really enjoy listening to the weekly episodes on Friday’s.
