“...as each chapter has its own (part of the whole) story, individual chapters are fun to listen. One wants to listen to the rest, but feels that one has already 'gotten somewhere' in the story. The pulp fiction tones were fun and - surprising to me - not annoying. A very successful attempt. “Absolutely loved this series and would love to see more content like this from Radio4.
A lot of other reviewers didn't like the narration but the reason it was simplistic was because the story was so complex.
