Iron Culture is a gift to lifters
Iron Culture is a gift to the lifting community. Eric and Omar cover multiple of facets of lifting culture (bodybuilding, powerlifting, CrossFit, strength & conditioning, +++) treating each and every topic with intellectual honesty/humility, fairness, *ACTUAL* expertise and evidence, and most of all a passion for exploring and giving back to weightlifting community. I’m so glad I found this podcast - there is so much pseudo-science and extremism across the fitness industry that makes it really difficult to tease out the truth from what sells. These dudes fearlessly prioritize nuance which without fail leads to super interesting discussions. If you’re a bodybuilder and you’re not consuming at least SOME of Eric Helm’s content you’re missing the boat - in particular the balance and lifestyle stabilizing elements of BB as a sport. Omar nails his schtick as the outlandish lifting layman and really glues together the dynamic of the show. That said he’s also incredibly knowledgeable and a helluva strong and experienced natural lifter. These guys know their stuff. Listen to freaking podcast already.

More reviews of Iron Culture
I don’t usually listen to podcasts, but the chemistry these guys have (both with each other and their guests) is phenomenal—not to mention the info they put out. Thank you!
