“This podcast is an informative and fun listen.
You don't have to be from New York (although I am), or Native American (I'm not) to find Andrew and Caleb's discussions of Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) culture, history, mythology and legends, fascinating.
They provide a very measured, researched, respectful of multiple viewpoints, analysis of the topic. They've also got a first rate sense of humor -and make the occasional pop culture reference to make it easy for a general listener to be able to get into their talks.
Growing up in as a white kid in NY we studied aspects of Iroquois culture and their role in American history -but from an outsider perspective (and largely as something that occurred in the past) so it's good to hear actual Haudenosaunee tell their own story.
