This in theory is very informative. However, shame on Jesse for going along with gender ideology nonsense and referring to women as “birthing person”. Luckily the majority of guests don’t follow this woke ideology. Only women can get pregnant Only women can breastfeed Only women have a cervix...Read full review »

Love these every week and always have to stop myself from listening ahead. Feels like hanging out with a pregnant girlfriend ❤️

Such a great concept and great way to listen as you embark on each week. Really comforting, particularly in the first trimester when you can’t really discuss your symptoms with many others

I am listening the season 1 following on my own week by week process in my pregnancy, I love the tone of the conversation, there’s professional advice but it is simply explained. I am based in the Netherlands and although there is some content much related to the UK, 99% of it is relatable to me...Read full review »

I am not a birthing person, I am a woman. The whole definition of a woman is someone who is able to carry a child to term and birth them. Woman has a uterus and gets periods. Why are we subverting millennia of naming things the way they are to please select few. Biology doesn’t change. As a...Read full review »

I started listening at about 16 weeks as only just discovered. I am now 39+2 and have found it so helpful. I’ve recommended to all my friends already so that they know about it before they become pregnant/consider a pregnancy and don’t feel alone in those first few weeks when everything is so...Read full review »

I’m currently 40 weeks today, pregnant with my first at age 35. You are so right about getting annoyed when people text “happy due date” etc, I’m getting those texts today rolling my eyes even though I know people mean well. I’ve listened to this podcast since first finding out I was pregnant and...Read full review »

Overall I enjoy this podcast. It’s casual, lighthearted, and relatable and has been a nice relaxed podcast to listen to in my pregnancy. I wish we would stop using language that erases women. We are pregnant women, not pregnant people. Is it really inclusive if we leave out women? I understand...Read full review »

I listened to this podcast religiously throughout my pregnancy. I loved Jesse’s sense of humor and found it really helpful that she spoke to a range of birth workers as I prepared for doctors visits. It leans holistic / natural and being a British show, some things do not apply stateside (gas and...Read full review »

This is the only pregnancy focused podcast that I’ve really latched onto. It feels like an informative conversation and it’s easy to take in. Please don’t stop — feels like there’s still a million other related subjects & information to be shared. & thank you

Quite a helpful podcast to listen along to but found some of the terms used really quite alienating to the women who listen to this podcast. We’re pregnant women, and it’s breastfeeding. The woke language only serves to alienate and irritate your core audience.

Thanks for this incredible podcast, it’s my first experience of being ‘with child’ and I generally don’t really have anyone to bounce off what’s normal and what’s not!
