“I had hoped for a reasonably objective narration of Islamic history. This is not that.
There is a near complete lack of critical thought about anything foundational. Credulous, gullible, unquestioning. Some useful information about more recent events, and if one wants an example of thought from a thorough believer, one can find that. That’s about it. Disappointing.”
